Introduction
201 hot rolled stainless steel plate refers to steel that is resistant to corrosion by weak medium such as atmosphere, steam and water, while acid-resistant steel refers to steel which is resistant to corrosion by chemical etching agents such as acid, alkali and salt. The national standard model is 1Cr17Mn6Ni5N.
Stainless steel 201 plate has good formability, corrosion resistance, and workability. SS 201 plate is similar to SS 301. These stainless steel 201 coils (UNS S20100) are an austenitic chromium-nickel-manganese stainless steel that was originally developed to protect nickel. As mentioned above, these SS 201 coils (DIN 1.4372) were originally developed to protect nickel and are characterized by low nickel content.
Alloy 201 plate is a low-cost alternative to traditional Cr-Ni stainless steels (such as 301 and 304). At the same time, about half of the nickel content in stainless steel 304 is replaced by an alloy with manganese and nitrogen added. This results in higher strength than alloy 304.
