Introduction of Stainless Steel Sheets

Stainless steel is a strong and highly durable material that is perfect to be used in interior and exterior constructions and design features. Using colored stainless steel sheets means that design professionals can integrate the element of color into their designs, instead of opting for the regular stainless steel look. color stainless steel produces different types of colored stainless steel sheets, which are manufactured to the highest standards and from top quality materials.

The Process of PVD Coating / Plating

During the process, first of all the stainless steel is cleaned to make sure that the coating will bond well. The steel is then placed in a vacuum chamber with a “target” metal; this will be used to create the coating. A high vacuum level is needed in the coating chamber, then a small amount of argon gas is introduced. A high voltage circuit is used in order for the stainless steel and target to bond or adhere. This allows the argon ions to bombard the target to release atoms of the target metal, which are deposited on the stainless steel substrate as the coating. This PVD process is called sputtering; resulting in the deposition of plasma on the stainless steel surface which gives it its new strength and shine.

Mirror Finish

A highly reflective finish, it achieves the look for which stainless steel is best known. It works great to hide welded metal and makes cleaning easier. Polishing stainless steel to attain a mirror finish requires a wheel or at least a 320-grit belt.

Bead Blasted Finish

First, clean the surface dust and oil stains of the parts with cleaning agent, and then place them in the sandblasting machine. The high-speed airflow generated by the sandblasting machine blows sand particles onto the surface.
